Open 2007 - In association with RBS

Hole by Hole Guide - 10th

Carnoustie 10th

Thursday 5th July 2007

Name: South America
Par: 4
Championship Tee: 466 yards
Medal Tee: 446 yards

Colin Says: If it's downwind (which it should be) the 10th shouldn't cause too many problems. They'll fly the bunkers on the right and as long as they miss the one on the left they'll have a relatively straightforward approach to a flat green.

Fergus Says: Aim for the middle right side of the fairway but beware of the slope as it takes the ball towards the bunker on the left. Your approach must clear the Barry Burn but there is around 25 yards of dead ground between burn and green.

Paul Says: There is a bunker on the left and three on the right. Thread a driver between them and leave yourself with a medium iron in.
