Now be honest, did anyone predict Zach Johnson winning the Masters last year? No, I didn't think so. So despite the fact that it seems almost inconceivable that Tiger Woods won't be fitted for his fifth green jacket come Sunday evening, remember Devon Loch. Especially when you consider the quality of the chasing pack.
From the blistering early season form of Adam Scott to the incredible Augusta consistency of Big Phil, there is a whole host of potential winners lurking in the wings. Is this the year that a European will join the likes of Langer, Lyle and Ballesteros in finally winning another green jacket or will it be the week that Ernie wins the Major that has proved so elusive to him?
We might not have the ultimate answer (if we did we'd be at the bookies!) but we've taken an in-depth look at recent form and Masters history to get an idea of just who might join the gloriously illustrious list of past winners. This year we've split our player profiles into three categories, our favourites, most likely contenders and GM's super selection of some of the less fancied runners and riders.
