Hole-by-Hole Guide - Hole 8

Monday 31st March 2008

Yellow Jasmine
Par 5
570 yards
2007 average score: 4.766
Easiest hole in 2007

From start to finish the 8th is an intriguing hole that plays up the hill, running almost parallel to the 1st. The difficulty here lies almost entirely with the tee shot that is played down another tunnel of trees past a dangerous bunker on the right side.

The green sits slightly over to the left so aggressive players will look to hug that right-hand bunker off the tee. The green itself is bowl-shaped – anything slightly right or left will bounce down towards the pin. Expect to see plenty of birdies and bogeys here!
